COVID19 Policy
- Travelling to the conference
You can find relevant information about the current health requirements for travelling to Spain at the Spain Travel Health portal.
Passengers (except for children under the age of 12) arriving from countries that do NOT belong to the European Union or are NOT considered Schengen associated countries, must show an EU DIGITAL COVID CERTIFICATE / EU EQUIVALENT or the SpTH QR, in order to pass the health controls on arrival in Spain.
Masks are mandatory inside planes, trains, buses, ships and other public transports, pharmacies and healthcare centres.

- Mask policy inside the venue
It is not mandatory to wear a mask during the ECCB2022 conference or within the premises of the Hotel Melia Sitges following the Spanish regulation, however we recommend participants to wear one both as a measure of individual protection and for collective responsibility. We will have some masks at your disposal at the Technical Secretariat desk.
- Testing for COVID19
We will not require participants to test for COVID-19 either before or during the ECCB2022. If you think you may have COVID-19, you can buy a test at a pharmacy located 10 minutes by walk from the venue: Farmacia Sitges Platja.
If you need a PCR-test, you can do so at the following centres. The prize is 100 EUR and the results are given within 24h.

There are periodic inspections of the air installation and nowadays Hotel Melia Sitges accomplishes within the legal requirements.

- How can I access the venue and the meeting rooms?
There is access with ramps through the parking and the main door, also at the reception, conference centre, restaurants, rooms and meeting rooms.
There are two lifts to access the conference floor (-1) at the Hotel Melià Sitges.
